The Analysis of Leadership Function in Improving the Quality of Education (Study at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kolaka Utara

This study aims to determine and analyze the leadership function in improving the quality of education at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kolaka Utara.

The type of this research is descriptive with qualitative method approach, ie problem solving by describing and describing the state of subject/research object (someone, institution, society and others) at present based on facts that appear or how it is. A qualitative approach is used to explain the empirical phenomena encountered in this study. The data collection technique is done through observation, interview, and documentation.

The results showed that the leadership function in improving the quality of education at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kolaka Utara has been run in accordance with the existing function, but not yet fully able to run, especially related to the function of teacher and staff participation is limited to the learning process in school, and the function of delegation is still limited to the duties and functions of each party because of the limitations and ability of the Principal to delegate his role to his subordinates.
