This research is a research with descriptive qualitative type, informant in this research as much as six people. Data collection techniques are direct observation, direct interview. The data analysis used Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Attract Conclusion.
The results of this study indicate that Based on the results of research and findings in the field on the role of culture and tourism departments in the development of tourism, especially in the field of tourism promotion of tambourine, the researcher can conclude that the role of culture and tourism cannot be said to work and run optimally. Because the role is still using inefficient and local way. Then still the lack of utilization of technology, which is promoting the object of technology tourism, is a must because it will facilitate the public to get information.
