This research is motivated by the importance of the implementation of the principle of knowing customers, especially in banking transactions to know the identity of customers in the provision of credit in addition to the principle of knowing the customer is also one of the bank’s obligation to prevent the banking system is not used as a means of money laundering crime, either directly or indirectly directly by the perpetrators of crime. The problem in this research is how the implementation of Know the Customer Principles and Troubled Credit Settlement at Bank BRI Unit Wolo Village Samaturu Ditrict Kolaka Regency. The author uses the method of writing by obtaining data directly from the results of research and data obtained from the literature. This research was conducted in March 2016. The purpose of this research is to know the Implementation of Know the Customer Principles and Troubled Credit Settlement at Bank BRI Unit Wolo Samaturu Sub-District Kolaka District. The benefits obtained by the existence of this research is to help the implementation of the principle of knowing customers to customers who will conduct transactions. This research was conducted at Bank BRI Unit Wolo Village Samaturu Ditrict Kolaka Regency. This application can help the banks to prevent the banking industry from being used as a means or target of crimes, whether committed directly or indirectly.
