The Conceptual Structure Short Story of Jakarta by Totilawati Tjitrawasita and Short Story of Kado Istimewa by Jujur Prananto

This research is motivated by the existence of romantic relationship two aspects (structure of space and structure of the groove) two short stories namely Jakarta by Totilawati Tjitrawasita and short story Kado Istimewa by Jujur Prananto. The problem in this research is how is the conceptual structure of Jakarta short story by Totilawati Tjitrawasita and short story Kado Istimewa by Jujur Prananto? The purpose of this research is to describe the conceptual structure of Jakarta short story by Totilawati Tjitrawasita and short story Kado Istimewa by Jujur Prananto. Benefits to be achieved in this research is theoretically and practically. This research is a research bibliography. The method used in this research is the descriptive method. Data in this research is written data in the form of text related to the conceptual structure contained in the short story of Jakarta by Totilawati Tjitrawasita and short story Kado Istimewa by Jujur Prananto. The source of data in this study is the short story of Jakarta by Totilawati Tjitrawasita published by the Center for Language Development and Development, 1979 in Jakarta and the short story Kado Istimewa by Jujur Prananto which is in Pujiharto’s book “The Study of Literary Theory” published by Ombak in 2012 in Yogyakarta. Based on the result of research of the structure of the short story space of Jakarta by Totilawati Tjitrawasita, it was built from the semantic field, among them the opposition between brother and sister, the teacher with general, inner with born, the village with the city, poor with rich, and paradise with the world. While the structure of the groove is One of the most prominent subvention elements is the event when Paijo welcomes his brother with an unpleasant impression. In contrast to Mr Waluyo who sought positive against his sister. This has made Mr Waluyo always calm by returning to his village. The situation has proved that happiness can be achieved in the world, without having to die and occupy heaven (hereafter). Totilawati Tjitrawasita’s short story in Jakarta has tried to answer the romantic self-contradiction by nullifying the real world and trying to live in an ideal world. While the structure of the short story room of Jujur Prananto’s Special Gift is awakened from the number of semantic fields, among them the opposition between the kitchen workers with the army of warriors, the village with the city, the children with the mother, the inner with the born, and the poor with the rich. While the structure of the plot is in this short story the world is not at all removed because the inhabitants still have their own lives. Basically, Bu Kustiyah is in the real world life always trying to break through semantic fields with the mediation of respecting others. As per the description, it can thus be said that in this short story it is clear that the real world is a place full of obstacles to deal with compared to a fantasy ideal world.
